German Brand Award for Tata Consultancy Services
The campaign “Deutschland endlich auf dem Sprung?” of the IT service provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the agency Callies & Schewe has been awarded the German Brand Award in the category ‘Brand Creation – Storytelling & Content Marketing’. The campaign was convincing with its comprehensible and exciting presentation of a study on digitisation.
The awards are presented by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute for successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication. There were 1,250 submissions this year. The award ceremony took place on 21 June at a festive gala in Berlin with more than 500 invited guests from business, politics and the media.
“Whoever receives the German Brand Award has successfully stood out from the crowd,” says Kim Schewe, Managing Director of Callies & Schewe. “The IT service provider TCS and Bitkom Research jointly conducted a representative survey on the current status and plans for digitization in companies. The results were presented to Callies & Schewe in texts, graphics and videos for various target groups, media and communication channels. A website specially created for the campaign and social media contributions show individual study results on the status of digitisation in Germany.
“Whether it was website hits, study downloads or press releases, the response to the campaign far exceeded our expectations,” says Doreen Schulze, Head of Marketing TCS Central Europe. “With the easy-to-understand and visually presented study results, we have achieved a high visibility of our global brand in Germany.
The German Brand Award is the award for successful brand management in Germany. Only companies nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees can take part in the competition. The independent jury consists of brand experts from various disciplines. The initiator is the German Design Council, an independent and internationally active institution.
